International Excellence in Teaching & Research | Financial Management

Dr.(Mrs.).Lingesiya Kengatharan is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Financial Management, Faculty of Management Studies & Commerce, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. She obtained her four years’ Bachelor Degree in Financial Management with First Class from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 2002 and received a couple of Master Degrees – an MBA (Master of Business Administration) with GPA 3.58/4 at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2010 and an MSc (Master of Science) in Management & Business Studies Research with commendation at Kingston University, London in 2012. She has completed her PhD in Accounting and Finance at Kingston University, London in January 2016. She has published around 30 Research Papers in the Scopus indexed, Emerging Sources Citation Index of WoS, ABDC ranked Journals and other indexed journals. Also published Six Books with well internationally recognized publishers. She has presented papers at the various universities in Sri Lanka, France, Malaysia,  and various educational institutions in India. She received a gold medal for best research paper in 2010 and continuously she has obtained best research paper awards for last four years (2017, 2018 , 2019 & 2020) from different conferences: one was with cash prize. Her research works have been cited by more than 150 scholars.
