Dr. R.Leema Rose is presently the Co-ordinator and Assistant Professor in the Department of B.Com(Honours), Loyola College, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. She holds to her credit more than 15 years of work experience which includes 10 years of Academic and research activities and 5 years in the corporate sector. She has presented papers in a dozen of publications in the International, national conferences of Academic importance including publications in Journals. She is an active participant in organising events and supporter and mentor for students. She has high leadership qualities and as a woman and mother, she has helped many students from the weaker section financially and emotionally to complete their education by contributing for their fee and by assisting them in their studies and through counselling. She advocates gender equality and believes in upliftment of the women in the society.  She is a self-made individual who has fought all odds in her life to reach this position. She believes in giving the best of her without expecting the returns.  It is her self-motivation,determination and sincerity to her work,which bore fruit and positioned her in this state. She is a woman of courage and self determination and has great self-esteem. She turned the obstacles in her life into opportunities and opportunities into success. She does not compromise on her duty and responsibilities. She places excellence as the minimum qualifying criteria in all her activities.
